Cleaning hours are Monday through Saturday between the hours of 9:00 am & 5:00 pm.

1- Online booking

We use a professional online booking software that make it easy to book appointments directly on our website 24/7 and a convenient payment by credit card.

Simply choose the number of bedrooms, bathrooms and square footage you have in your home, and we follow a detailed checklist to get your home sparkle clean.

2- We wear uniforms

Unlike some independent home cleaning providers, West Maui Cleaning is an established name you already know you can trust in the place where you live, eat, and play. All our professional cleaning experts undergo training to ensure they’re prepared and professional when they come to your home wearing the iconic West Maui Cleaning uniform.

3- We Screen our cleaners.

6) We use shoe covers to avoid soiling your floors and carpets with mud, dirt or dust that we’ve tracked from outside. Common germs and bacteria can also live on the footwear, and these shoe covers help keep microbes from coming into contact with your furniture and floors. We also use new disposable nitrile gloves at each home.

7) We use high quality, commercial equipment.

Our commercial vacuums feature four-Level Advanced Filtration with HEPA media filter to help our clients to breathe better air; certified Gold by the Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) and has the ability to collect up to 99.9% of the allergens in the indoor air which exceed one micron in size.

8) We  switch out all cleaning cloths, mopheads and scrubbing sponges between homes and thoroughly launder them between usage.

Depending on the size of the job, we most often work in teams of at least two, and sometimes three maids. On large size job, you might get an entire West Maui Cleaning staff or up to 10 house cleaners. Occasionally we may send our quality control manager with the team to ensure service quality.

If you require us to use green cleaning products or If you want us to use your cleaning products, please let us know before we start the service.

Absolutely. We use mainly Meyer’s and Seventh Generation cleaning products. While using these types of products is our preferred way of doing things, reality is that often they are not as effective as their industrial strength counter parts. Please keep in mind, that while they are perfectly adequate for a house that has been well maintained and cleaned periodically, often they will not suffice on heavily soiled or neglected homes.

Simple: We offer flat rate pricing in our Residential Services based on the number of rooms & bathrooms, We also offer an hourly rate at $75/per cleaner for Pre and Post Events, with a minimum of 3 hours (2 cleaners for 3 hrs) $450.

Payment in full is required at the time of service. We currently only accept credit or debit cards. All bookings are done through our secured website at our convenient booking page. Our online payments are processed by Stripe and are processed through a fully secure 256-bit protocol.

There are no contracts ever, you can cancel whenever you want.

No, as long as you have a way to let us in when you are not home there is no reason for you to have to be there. However, if it makes you feel more comfortable, we welcome you to stay and watch what we do. All of our house cleaning employees are trustworthy and friendly, they do have a schedule though so make sure to give them enough space to get their work done.

We usually do not like to give exact time frames for our cleanings. However, we usually estimate 1-1.5 hours per bedroom, 1-1.5 hours per full bath, 30 minutes for half bath. These are average times based on years of experience but may change based on the actual condition of the house, or in special cases such as large homes.

Deep cleanings take more time than a recurring service since the service includes more tasks. (Deep Clean Blinds, Detail Baseboards & Clean Inside Windows and Sills)

Please remember, because we quote cleaning jobs sight unseen, your particular project could take more or less time based on the actual amount of work to be done.

 

 

Although consistency is one of our strengths, we understand that dissatisfaction with a cleaning may occur. When this happens, we want you to be 100% satisfied, therefore you are given a 24 hour period to contact us and have the area re-cleaned at no additional cost.

There is no preparation needed for your cleaning, but in order to give you the greatest value, we suggest you to take a few minutes the night before to pick up extraneous clothing, toys and other household items.

Additionally, make your home accessible. A key that is accessible to the cleaning person(s) is usually the best method. A fee will be charged if we are unable to access your home.

Turn off alarm system. If you choose to leave the alarm on and have the service disarm, we will not be held responsible for false alarms or misuse of the alarm system.

 

Tipping is neither required nor expected, but it is a powerful way to say thank you to your service provider. Appreciation for a job well done does need not be monetary, yet a simple “Thank You” or note can go a long way to express appreciation.

No, due to health concerns we cannot clean out cat boxes, dog cages, flea or insect invested homes or pick up animal excrement. We cannot clean anything that requires a bio-hazard cleaning service such as blood, vomit, and anything else along these lines (either of human or animal origin). We truly appreciate your understanding.

Although we love pets, we understand that pets can get alarmed with new people around, different sounds, and noise (i.e. vacuum). We recommend to our customers that pets be placed outside, in a different room, in a crate, or with a neighbor. Not only will the cleaning be more effective, the pets will feel safer and comfortable in an undisturbed setting.

Absolutely. In fact, having someone who is familiar with your home, its location and your preferences, helps us to deliver a better service and we always will try to match you up with your preferred provider.

We bring all our own supplies.  If you have cleaning products that you would prefer us to use (for wood floors for example) feel free to let us know and we can use any supplies you leave out for us.

Service reliability is extremely important because we reserve a time, especially for you, we request that you give us a minimum of 48 hrs. advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule for any reason to avoid incurring a $130 cancellation fee.

 

The client shall make the service location accessible to West Maui Cleaning personnel on the scheduled service day. If the team is locked out of the Client’s home, every effort will be made to establish contact with the Client to arrange for entry into the home, if contact is not made within 15 minutes of the arrival of the cleaning team, the scheduled cleaning will be skipped & you will be charged $130 late cancellation fee, this fee is necessary to compensate the employees for unexpected lost revenue & time travel, to avoid the fee provide us with a key or code to gain entry to your home.

The frequency of your  maid service is entirely up to you. Most people tend to choose a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly service depending on their unique needs and budget. For instance, a small apartment with one or two people will require a less frequent service, than a large home with children and pets. No matter what you choose, you can rely on West Maui Cleaning to meet your specific needs with kindness and professionalism.

We do our best to handle your valuables with care. However, accidents do happen. Should damage or breakage occur while we are cleaning, we will alert you. We will also make every effort to repair the item or replace it if necessary. Insurance claims will be filed when appropriate.

We clean interior windows only. Additional charges may apply.

We will call you to reschedule your cleaning at a convenient time.  If for any reason you have to change your cleaning day and/or time, please contact us.

Absolutely! Each of our team members goes through an extensive training period before stepping foot in a customer’s home. We have a lot invested in our teams and it shows in each and every clean. Training is ongoing as new products and methods emerge on the market. Each team includes a working team leader who supervises the team on site and completes a quality check throughout the service. A field manager will periodically visit your home while your team is cleaning. Field managers also perform quality checks to ensure that you receive the best possible service. With field manager visits, you can feel comfortable knowing that you’ll always receive the highest quality clean.

We have three levels of security in place. First off, our booking page is protected by extended validation SSL. Secondly, our booking form has its own layer of 256 bit security. Third, credit card transactions are processed by STRIPE and is layered on their own 256 bit security protocol. In addition, no credit card numbers are stored in our system (only a token that allows us to charge the card). Rest assured, we take security very very seriously.
